Pokémon Fire Ash is the most complete Pokémon Fan-Made game to date, including over 900 Pokémons, more than 50 gyms and 9 different regions. The game follows the same path and the same story as Ash within the Pokémon Anime, which makes it even more appealing. The graphics emulate the third generation, but it features Pokémons up to generation 8, plus mega-evolutions and other new features. Its development began in 2015, and it is still receiving small updates.

While it's true that it's not the Pokémon fangame that includes the most innovative or quirky mechanics, it's the best among those that stick closest to the original Pokémon concept. You could say that Pokémon Fire Ash is something like playing all the Pokémon at the same time, giving it the special touch of following the story of the Anime. The best thing is that the game, despite being finished, continues to receive updates to fix bugs and add improvements. However, the developers have already made it clear that no updates to the current gameplay are planned for now (i.e. there are no plans for 3.5). In addition, there are also no plans to add the ninth generation to the game, at least for now.
